A step count intervention study for adults with type 2 diabetes
The Partner Step T2D study examines whether personalized step count prescriptions, combined with a couples-based coaching intervention, can increase physical activity in adults with type 2 diabetes and their partners.
The PartnerSteps platform supports the study by collecting daily step count data from participant wearable devices via the Google Health API and calculating personalized weekly step targets using the study's algorithm.
Step Tracking
Daily step counts retrieved from wearable devices via the Google Health API on behalf of enrolled participants.
Weekly Targets
Personalized step targets calculated each week based on each participant's recent activity history.
